Assessments - The Basics
Assessments can be an important tool for your specialist to identify how they may best assist you.
Assessments have different categories called "scales". The scales contained in an assessment are listed in tabs on the left (under the Scales section).
When clicked, each scale displays the scale name in orange and the multiple choices available to you on the main screen. These choices are called "statements".

Keep in mind...
You may not see a statement that is a perfect fit for every scale. In these cases, you can either select the statement that most closely applies to you or reach out to your specialist for guidance.
Please note that not every organization has assessments you can conduct through the Client Portal. You can conduct assessments only if the organization has enabled this setting and:
- You have an assessment that is due
-OR- - You have created an application for a program that requires an assessment before submitting it
Understand the Assessments Tab
If you do not see a tab called "Assessments" when you are logged into your account, the organization does not allow you to conduct or view assessments via the Client Portal.
The Assessments tab contains two sections: Scheduled and Previous Assessments
For Mobile, click the down arrow to expand each section:
The Scheduled Assessments area shows:
- The name of the scheduled assessment
- The date and time the assessment has been scheduled for
- Who scheduled the assessment ("Created By:")
If you see a View button next to an assessment, it means that the scheduled assessment date has arrived or passed and you can now conduct the assessment independently using the Client Portal.
If the scheduled assessment does not have a View button, you must wait until the date and time of the assessment has arrived.
The Previous Assessments area shows:
- The name of the completed assessment
- The date the assessment was completed
- The option to View the completed assessment - see Review Past Assessments for more information
